BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Subirana is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the IESE Business School, University of Navarra. He received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the MIT AI Laboratory, his M.Sc. in Management (MBA with a concentration in technology management) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and his B.Sc./M.Sc. Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is currently a visiting professor at MIT.

Dr. Subirana's research interests include: technology and operations; computational modeling of firms; activity based performance measurement of complex processes; information technology and executive leadership; industry transformation; eContracting; and advanced learning technologies.
